What is Maternity Reflexology?

 It supports both mother and baby throughout all trimesters in the preparation for birth and postpartum. It's a pleasant, natural and safe way to relax and maintain wellbeing throughout.

Due to the rapid changes that the body goes through during pregnancy, reflexology is a pleasant treatment often used to sooth the aches and pains in the back and joints. It is hugely supportive at balancing hormones to aid in the onset of labour, and encourage more effective contractions allowing for a more comfortable efficient labour.

How long does a treatment last?

 First treatment usually lasts about 1hr 10min, upon which you will be required to complete a full consultation . This will be done in the strictest of confidence to ensure a treatment plan that is safe and suitable for you.

How many sessions?

 The number of sessions varies and is determined by the clients health and reason for seeking reflexology. In general results are often subtle and are cumulative. Thus the client is more likely to see greater benefits from regular sessions eg: once a week for 6 weeks, and then once every 6 months. If the client is dealing with a specific condition or illness, they may need to have more or frequent sessions
